History

God has called us to be a catalyst to fulfilling “The Great Commission” and to use all our talents to do so.

Matt. 28:18-20 “The Great Commission”

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.  Amen.

Jesus is saying the way to make disciples is to go, baptize and teach

What God Showed Me

When Jackie and I left Fresno, CA. in 2012 we felt God wanted us to move and focus on gospel music. We had three cities in mind, Arlington VA. (Washington DC), Virginian Beach and Charlotte NC. Once we arrived in Charlotte, NC within a few months we were asked to host a gospel TV show. Also, while exploring the city we found out it was full of Christian resources. Home of The Billy Graham Association (and birth place of Billy Graham), home of JAARS ministry (jaars.org)

(Since 1948, JAARS has existed to make Bible translation and language development possible—especially in the most remote and difficult places on earth)

who is partners with Wycliffe (wycliffe.org);

For more than 70 years, Wycliffe has helped people around the world translate the Bible into their own languages. We also help with language development, literacy and other spiritual and physical needs.

Also, I found Charlotte to be a catalyst for mission work with organizations like SIM (Serving in Mission) (sim.org). You may not know this organization by name but you know who they are. When America was in height of the Ebola scare and two doctors that returned to United States to be treated for Ebola came back to Charlotte NC they were from SIM;

Partnering churches worldwide to evangelize, minister to human need, disciple and equip churches for Christ's Great Commission.

Although Jackie and I have been all around the world in different countries in the past, but more recently we have been ministering in the United States through JackieO. Kelley Music Ministries, I didn’t know what the full impact of living in Charlotte would have on us as it pertains to ministry.

In this last year God did something in our ministry that was made plain, and that is, what is our purpose is going forward in fulfilling His will on this earth.

Not long ago JackieO. lead worship at the “African American in Missions Conference” planning session. While attending, I was completely taken by the wealth of knowledge the group had in articulating about international missions and God’s call for us to fulfil “The Great Commission.”

These were African Americans from all over America who were strategized on how to mobilize more African American’s to reach the 1.5 billion people in the world that have never heard of Christ (these are called the unreached and unengaged). As for me after years of hands on urban street ministry it become quite evident to us what God is doing in our lives. God has called us to be a catalyst to fulfilling “The Great Commission” and to use all our talents to do so.
